WAMUG Annual Barbecue

Tuesday, 15th November, 2011 – 8:35 pm by Pete Smith
The Annual WAMUG Christmas Barbecue will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, 11th December 2011 in the grounds of the old Heathcote Hospital, Applecross.

Where will we be?
If you select the ‘Earth’ view and zoom in so that the old hospital is very clear, you’ll see the car park roundabout (brown) with grey car parking off to the right and, more importantly, a light coloured footpath heading off to the right and circling around the whole hospital. If you set off to the right along that path, you’ll come to where we were last year just under the trees next to the first building (the long skinny one with the three bits jutting out). Barring unforeseen circumstances, that’s where we’ll be. There will also be a WAMUG sign to help guide you.
Considering 2009 was a scorcher, it’s a top spot.

Or click on the following links for an annotated Google map picture of the spot and overview of general location.

All offers of help with the preparation will be most welcome.

All meat, salad, condiments and soft drinks will be provided, but please let us know by next Wednesday, 7 December if you intend to come along so we can get an idea of numbers. This will help immensely in estimating quantities.
Entry is free to all WAMUG members, but a gold-coin donation by non-members would be welcome.
So come along and meet old friends and new ones.

New Monthly Meetings Page

Tuesday, 25th January, 2011 – 6:10 pm by Pete Smith

G’day all.

The WAMUG website is finally undergoing some renovations. We’re learning as we go (and probably forgetting and having to re-learn too! – weeelll, me anyway!!!) so it will be bit-by-bit.

The ‘Meeting’ page is the first to be modified. It has the latest details of the next meeting and will be updated regularly.

Keep an eye out on the site and see if you can spot the changes. Some will be minor and others somewhat more involved. We’ll let you you know about some but not all!

Regards,

Pete Smith

Monthly Meeting 0909

Wednesday, 26th August, 2009 – 11:09 pm by Administrator

G’day again all WAMUGGERS

Well, August has nearly past us by. Have you set your iCal for next Tuesday 1 September 2009 for the next WAMUG meeting?

In no particular order:

Denice Williams is going to talk to us about Digital Photography;
Daniel Kerr will tell us about iWeb; and
Hopefully, Craig Bruce will be able to give us an Apple TV demo (although this is still to be confirmed).
(Unfortunately, both Daniel and Craig were crook and unable to make it last time. Rumour has it they left their Windows open and caught a virus?!?!
Good to hear they are both well again.)

Plus, anything else which comes to mind on the night.

Of course, don’t forget the question and answer session at the beginning of every meeting and a cuppa and biscuits at the end.

(Details are subject to change without notice)
